Projects from my former WordPress site, all finished. See also Research, the PhD and declarative modelling and the Archives.

BONOM (IRIN, 1999-2000)

Thot (suspended)

Techniques for improving search engines by reaching the “invisible Web”, information that is poorly indexed or not indexed at all. What remains is a survey of the tools of the time (incomplete and outdated): archived list.

Dinosys (LINA, 2003-2004)

Distributed Notation System: a light, simple environment for annotating Web pages, built on a distributed proxy structure. It was used for web-based learning (ICWL 2004).

Prodicos (LINA, 2004-2011)

A French question answering system with three modules: question analysis, passage selection and answer extraction. It relies on a syntactic parser built on TreeTagger and on the EuroWordNet lexical database. It took part in the CLEF 2005 and 2006 evaluation campaigns (monolingual French track).
